So, what exactly is Morgan Strong?

Morgan Strong is a group of Morgan County residents who are really passionate about recreation. They want to make it better, bigger, and more accessible. We created a non-profit organization built around this idea and meet regularly with local leaders to make it happen.

Connecting Morgan County residents of all ages to fun, affordable, and expansive recreation.

We want the world to know that recreation is supposed to be fun and within reach for everyone. We’re excited to build on what coaches and municipalities have grown over the last thirty years and make big plans for the next thirty.

What are you trying to do?

We spearheaded a 2019 initiative to improve recreation in Morgan County. While the initiatives did not succeed in the election, the Needs Assessment we completed is actively used by Morgan County municipalities in their long-term planning.

We started by listening to you. We have asked for feedback from Morgan County individuals, business owners, elected officials, coaches, families, and anyone else willing to talk to us about their dreams for recreation facilities and programming. We have conducted online surveys, mailed surveys, and focus groups.

Looking toward the future, we continue to support the growth and improvement of recreation programming and facilities in Morgan County.
